We are a B2B manufacturing team focused on custom American mahjong sets and accessories. We work with brands, retailers, wholesalers and businesses developing collections for clubs, teaching and gifting. Our scope brings tiles, mats, racks, bags and gift boxes into one coordinated project, with OEM manufacturing and ODM development around your brief.
Our starting point is the experience your customer will have: recognizing a tile, arranging a hand, opening a gift box and packing the set away after a game. Those moments connect design to practical specifications. A tile’s size affects its rack; the complete inventory determines the storage; the material changes how a color appears.
We help turn that whole experience into decisions you can review: artwork, construction, component lists, physical samples and a written production scope. You bring your audience and creative direction. Together, we define the collection you want to put your name on.

Mahjong carries stories of family, friendship and gathering across generations. American mahjong is a living branch of that Chinese tradition, shaped by its own playing conventions and communities. We see contemporary product design as a way to invite people to the table while respecting the game’s origins.
For a brand, that means more than a new palette. Recognizable tile identities, a clearly specified American playing inventory and practical accessories help your customers enjoy the design. Our role is to support those product decisions; our guides complement, rather than replace, the official rules and annual card used by players.

MEET THE GAME
A table for four. A new decision every turn.
American mahjong is a social tile game combining pattern recognition, strategy and chance. In standard four-player, NMJL-style play, players work toward a 14-tile hand shown on the current annual card.
The usual playing inventory contains 152 tiles: 108 suited tiles, 16 winds, 12 dragons, eight flowers and eight jokers. Additional tiles in a retail set may be spares; check the itemized contents.
Players exchange tiles during the Charleston, then draw and discard while shaping a valid hand. Jokers have specific restrictions. This is an introduction, not a complete rules lesson; use the current rules and card for play.
Mahjong’s story belongs to the people and communities who have played, shared and adapted it. American mahjong is one branch of that wider history.
19th century
Origins in China
The modern tile game developed in nineteenth-century China. Historical tile-set research traces its development and growing popularity in China by the late 1800s.
Mahjong became a major craze in the United States and Europe in the early 1920s. Its American story also includes enduring traditions among Asian immigrant communities and Jewish American women.
The National Mah Jongg League was founded in New York City in 1937 by enthusiasts seeking common hands and rules. Its work helped shape the American playing tradition.
Our design approach respects recognizable tile identities while exploring original colors, artwork and coordinated accessories. We focus on the American format and specify its inventory explicitly, rather than treating every mahjong variant as interchangeable.
